Encryption scrambles sensitive transmissions made via the Internet. We employ strict encryption processes – the same used by leading financial institutions. Whenever data is transmitted, we require SSL /TLS (TLS1.2, soon to be TLS1.3) encryption. We also store data in an encrypted format (via AES 256 bit encryption), with additional layers of encryption added to our backup systems.

Firewalls restrict connections between publicly accessible servers, including connections from wireless networks and system components storing user data. Relcu systems are protected by network firewall layers. Additionally, we employ leading edge machine learning technology that identifies and autonomously can affect blocking of any network or systems activity that it believes to be nefarious.

All our systems, policies and procedures undergo regular security audits by third party security experts. All systems are regularly updated. Relcu is SOC2, Type 1 certified and going through SOC 2 Type 2 and Gramm Leach Bliley certification. We implement industry best practices for internal and external vulnerability testing, patching, anti-malware/virus and data loss prevention.

Relcu uses the best business continuity management practices. We have redundant clusters for databases, have automated our build processes which means any server/code failure can be recovered by just one command and can be easily switched to use any other region. Regular database backups are in place. Monitoring is done both from local and external networks.

A username and hidden (hashed) password are required to access any Relcu online service. All other services employed by Relcu like AWS and MongoDB Atlas require either multi-factor authentication or are tied to a single sign-on function (SSO).

Relcu uses secure facilities that are monitored and manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
